Welcome to STARFISH The official water safety and swimming programme for babies and toddlers -
an exciting, progressive series designed to introduce babies from 6 months old
to the aquatic environment.
This site provides full information on STARFISH for both parents and teachers, including links to our brochures, recognised STARFISH swim schools, details of badges and certificates and further information about the STA Learn to Swim Club.

The STARFISH series focuses on creating fun, positive experiences that will not
only help your baby to develop physically but also emotionally, intellectually
and socially too, while equipping them with key water safety skills.

Safety Guide for New Parents

This A5 guide gives you practical tips regarding general water safety,
throughout.

The "Get Ready to Take the Plunge" leaflet offers an introduction to the
swimming pool environment for babies and toddlers. It includes a four
week plan of water introduction for baby from bath to pool and also
important paediatric resuscitation and choking information.

The STARFISH series brings together our considerable expertise in baby
